Naad – Nartan, an NGO dedicated to art and culture was registered in 2009 under the society registration act of 1860 in the memory of Pandit Tirath Ram Sharma ‘Azad’, a legendary kathak exponent belongs to Jaipur gharana. The central Sangeet Natak Academy award which is given to highly recognized artistes for their contribution to the cause of dance, music and drama, was conferred at him by the then President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on 20 the March, 2006. 

Our aim is to spread art and culture not only in India but the world over.We promotes art and culture through all available channels at our disposal. Various activities are held throughout the calendar whereby involving the masses in the field of classical music and dance. In the era of Globalization it is more significant to safeguard our intangible heritage and rich traditions and our moto is – Society for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage through education and research. We try to engage people around us in various activities relating to art and culture and thereby bringing awareness for the same amongst the masses. 

This year also, several such programmes will be taken up through various of our channels with the help of our members and executive committee which strengthened the Indian tradition of art and music.
